| Music in the Park |
On Thursday evenings, Gilchrist Park located along the shores of Charlotte Harbor in the historic homes district of downtown Punta Gorda comes alive with music. Dozens of musicians come together for a spontaneous jam session playing all genres of music from blue grass to classical to folk and rock. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the wonderful sunset on the Peace River. If you want, you can buy a delicious hot dog from "It's a Hot Dog Day" or stroll on downtown or to Fisherman's Village for a great taste of Punta Gorda!
